Period like pain at 34 weeks??

Anybody help me with this?

The last week I feel like my whole pregnancy has changed - ive been geting crampy stomach (but not contractions i dont think, and not BH, still havent experienced those) very painful movements from LO, shooting pains down my bits and I swear the other night i felt my pelvis click when i turned over in bed...and then, last night, at 4am I woke with period pain...thats exactly what it felt like, reasonably bad like I do when Im about to start bleeding normally....

I waited to see if it eased off, and JUST when I was about to call the hospital they wen. In all the period like pain lasted an hour and a half - consistant, no other symptoms.

Now its 5.30pm and its starting again LO is still moving as normal, what on earth is this period pain????

What the hells going on???

I am getting this too however I know for a fact that it is not my baby getting head down as I just had an ultrasound yesterday and he is breech, kind of LOL. He is sideways. Anyhow, this may not be the case for you. I think we feel different things for different reasons and they may not mean one thing or another. I had some SEVERE contractions last night that were regular about 2 mins apart for an hour and just as they were getting to the point that I could no longer walk or talk through them and was about to call the dr they slowed down and then went away. Now I am having consistent period pains and it feels like the contractions are coming back. I do not think anything is happening except this is just the way it is going to be for me for the next 7 weeks. That might not be the case for you though. Good luck hun

All i would say is normal hun. I am in exactly the same position, pretty much for the first time in this pregnancy i got period cramps last night, every 10 minutes nice and mildly for about 4 hours. It actually made me happy as i have literally been waiting to feel a period cramp for over 5 years. This is baby number 3 for me and i honestly can say i haven't had any period pains since my last labour 5 1/2 years ago. So i have literally been looking forward to the moment that it all starts. For about 2 weeks i have been losing the mucus plug and that I'm not too worried about as its pretty normal. Cramping is just another way of letting our bodies practise for the real deal. Both of my last pregnancies i went overdue, so I'm definitely not thinking anything of them. If of course things change and your waters break or the pain does get unbearable and coupled with tightenings of the stomach then of course get it checked out, but honestly don't worry much about the period cramps, and on the plus side, it really isn't long now when the real deal with happen...

I have been having on and off strong period cramps for several weeks now. Seems like tummy is just stretched to the limit and everything is getting squished. Sometimes it is followed by gas pains... all the doctors I deal with say it is normal so long as you're not experiencing fluid leaking or blood. It might also just be your cervix beginning to thin out.

I know I'm a week behind you but I'm feeling the same and have for a couple of days now. I'm upping my fibre intake to make sure it's not anything to do with my bowels. It's really uncomfortable. Hugs.

That is how I am feeling too. I feel like there will never be an end to this even though I know I only have 7 weeks left. And I thought for sure I would be going early with all of the contractions and issues I have been having however know that I have been told that baby is transverse and huge so there is not much room for him to so more than likely he will not turn, I do not think I will be going before 39 weeks unless there is a problem when they try to turn him. IDK it is all so stressful I just want my baby in my arms
