Kinda freaked out

So I have been having some bad shooting pains tonight in my cervix so I decided to check if I'm dielated or what. Anyway I checked when I took a shower just now and found my cervix right inside the opening of my vagina... Is it supposed to be that low!!?!? Its not dielated but really freaks me out that its so low and makes me not want to have sex with dh one bit! Does anyone know if this is normal?

Do you normally check yourself? The first thing that came to my mind was that you were standing up? Is it a different feeling laying down?

Ya i was standing... no i havnt checked myself since we were trying to conceive. Is it different if i check while laying down? I cant find any info online about a low cervix so im guessing i will probably have to wait til Wednesday to ask my doctor

cervix moves depending on the bubbas head i got told

before or in labour the cervix has to move to the front for the bubby to come out but it may seem long depending how effaced u are. my MW said the cervix starts the length of a carrot and by the time its fully effaced its the size of a polo mint

The shooting pains are normal as all the blood in our system make the cervix nerves work overtime.

Not too sure about the low cervix though? Id ring your Dr or MW

this is something im stuck on aswell
i know what my cervix felt like pre preg but didnt check until a few weeks ago

when i feel inside, i cant feel a thing other than lo's head...but if i get the mirror and look at it, theres loads of inside tissue right on the opening of my lady bits???

I wondered if this was my cervix? havent got a clue ...

Wowza how can u even feel ur cervix? And you could feel it pre preg? Wish I could feel mine :/ crazy! And that low down? I can't even imagine what u mean?x
