I actually have the opposite, my left ankle is swollen but right is fine. I have an appointment with the midwife on tues so going to mention it then. It's maybe a coincidence but I had a really bad sprain in my left ankle a couple of years ago it's never been 100% better but seems weird it's swelling up now. Sorry I'm not much help but can let you what midwife says Nx

I noticed my right ankle was swollen last night but thought it might be to do with the heat? Left one seems normal xxx

Hi I had my appointment today and my midwife did not seem worried, she took a note of it in my pregnancy notes and said it's just one of those pregnancy things and the heat will not have helped. So I don't think it's anything to worry about Nx

Yes, I have a swollen right foot and ankle. The midwife says as long as there's no pain, not a big deal...baby is probably mostly situated on the right side and cutting off circulation or something.

But, it's interesting another post said something about spraining her ankle...I did sprain this same ankle a couple of years ago and had physical therapy, etc. So, maybe that is the real connection.
