I had lucozade with Kyle, and will proberly have some chilling in the fridge ready this time (maybe some red bull sat waiting with some vodka a couple of days after )

The only thing i wanted in labour was ice cold water- the gas and air makes me mouth/throat so dry! x

im gonna stock up on powerade for during and full fat coke for after

actually, dont get the fizzy lucozade incase it upsets your tummy. get an isotonic drink or the lucozade sport.

crikey! I had to just keep pointing to the jug of water as i couldnt speak properly, i sounded drugged. Suppose i was, lol x

I think lucozade Was fab in labour! Once in established labour you don't want to eat but you need lots of energy.

My only pointer is watch the caffeine ones if you have cut it out during pregnancy! I had 2 bottles with me, 1st was great but the 2nd with added caffeine made me feel like I was buzzing and shaking!!!

Another good tip is Dextrose tablets, you can buy them in the chemist, same as lucozade but in tablet form.
