get some wool and string bits of penne pasta into necklaces and decorate , or play with "construction toys" ie...bob the builder ( this one is more for the boys ) and bits of dried pasta or lentils or rice.

Loving the coloured soap idea and the pasta on a string sounds great ..got the little bratscals a teletubby aqudraw a few months back and lo decided to suck water out of the pens and bite on the nib  so thats ended up going right to the back of the toy cupboard.. |
my boys did the same with the aqua draw pens so they get a pot of water and a paintbrush it works the same lol
