Hope he'll grow some more...

Hi ladies and bumps, I'm a bit worried my little boy will be too small when born. Been having growth scans and at 36 weeks he was only 5lb 1oz... (I'm quite tall but petite, been eating loads, put on 23 lbs this pg and even now 6 am and feeding myself milk & biscuits.). Did any of you who already have kids give birth to a good weight baby in spite of measuring small? Hoping he'll cook at least for 4 more weeks so he gets till at least 7lbs .

Small babies and big babies are both fine as long as they are born healthy. Size does not always prove or disprove health problems (I was 10lb6oz and still a lot of problems) I'm sure he'll get bigger, you have a bit of time left yet, but don't fret about it sweety.

I was measuring small throughout my first pregnancy (this one too!) and bump was tiny (I was told all the time!)

I was sent for growth scans (this time too!) and scans showed a perfect baby, ok, not going to be huge I was told!

Our LO was born at 39wks weighing 6 lb 15 oz.....so at full 40wks would have been 7lb+ so certainly not that small!
