Our Lo was transverse at out scan a few weeks ago. I thought she was as was getting bulges out the sides and could just feel her general shape through my stomach. So sounds similar to you, though I'm not sure if they can be head down and still sort of curled up, iykwim, so ud still get kicks or punches at the sides? Or does head down mean they're pretty straight? X
My bub was transverse between week 23-26 and I could see a big bump on the left and a big bump on the right. Most kicks were on the left, though I did occosinally get some on the right, and they were never very high up. Now she has flipped head down, confirmed by an ultrasound. I am a lot more comfortable, there is no bump on the right side, the kicks are higher up but eventhough I still mostly feel them on the left, I still do get them on the right.
For the last 2 weeks now I've been debating whether or not my little girl is breech, or just recently moved to transverse. I seem to have 2 larger firm areas on either side of my tummy - me thinking its head and bum. I generally only get kicks / feel movements on my lower left side, or right on my belly button.
After doing extensive googling, I'm not convinced about either now!!! I am plus sized so not very easy for me to identify whats a head / bum inside me LOL.
Also I read that the placenta position can reduce movements on other areas of your bump, so whilst I have all my movement on the left side, it could just mean my placenta is on the right side so blocking any movements there!
I would say it's likely LO is back to back. I know that my LO is head down, and i still feel movement on both sides so im sure he's back to back. It's not a problem as they can swirl around any time before birth, just mean's more back ache, and it does hurt sometimes lol
Hiya, according to my midwife my LO is head down and engaged but yet I still feel kicks and punches all over so I wouldnt worry. I too dont feel any different to when he or she wasnt engaged so god knows whats going on, can only take their word for it!x
