My little girl Khaleesi Jamie arrived yesterday at 10.53am weighing in at 4lbs3ozs. (34+2).
I was dreading my section, but the team here at St Marys (Manchester) were AMAZING! the op went great! Will do full details in birth story later!
They took Khaleesi away to neonatal while I had to stay in intensive care. I wasnt supposed to see her til this morning, but she was doing so well (no oxygen, rooting for a nipple already) that they let me go over around midnight. She had already had a feed frim syringe because I expressed (full 5oz!- fatty!) and they let me hold her. She's perfect!!
Just thought I'd let you all know and anyone worrying about an early(ish) baby... Although every baby is different- this couldn't be a better example of how steroids and bed rest help!
Thank yu so much for the update Jasa and congratulations superb weight and so happy she is doing so well,... beautiful name
I had my steroids on Mon and tues this wk and had her weekly CTG yesterday which showed a big deceeration again so we go back in on Monday to discuss getting her out too fingers crossed she is as big and strong as ur wee one
