34 weeks: extreme fatigue, lower abdominal cramps and back pain. Advice?
For the past few days I've been having lower abdominal cramps, exactly like AF and also lower back pain. I feel exhausted, too and slept for nearly 2 1/2 hours this afternoon although at night I don't sleep very well !
I have a 20 month old to run around after which probably makes things worse. I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone else is having these symptoms and if so do you have any ideas for relief? I have a MW appt in the morning so can run through things with her - I'm 34 weeks
It sounds completely normal to me for your stage of pregnancy. Am now 35 weeks and suffered all the symptoms you have explained since around 31 weeks.
The fatigue you have is exactly the same as me. I don't sleep well at night as I can't get comfy or am getting up to go to the loo a million times a night.
Just try to relax and get as much rest as poss, even if its just crashing out on the sofa.
Chin up, not long left now
I'm having the exact same symptoms. I think its just end-of-pregnancy stuff. Fatigue from lack of quality sleep (or in my case, just a total lack of sleep in general), combined with chasing a toddler all day, backache from growing bump, period pains... possibly BHs? Hormonal... well... I've been hormonal the entire pregnancy, so I didn't even really consider that as a new symptom.
Aley28 - my OH said today that this pregnancy has been worse for him than the last one because of my hormones! Stupid men! But I think he has a point...
Well had a MW appt today and mentioned my ailments. She just nodded her head and replied that it was all late pregnancy stuff. Baby defo not engaged yet but is low down. She also said that I'm measuring two weeks ahead in terms of bump size which might explain some of the back pain and fatigue. FOUR WEEKS AND COUNTING! x
