What a prick. I'm having twins, too and it's only goig to get tougher to sleep. I am only able to sleep a few hours at a time... No way would I move to the couch. He really needs a reality check.

are you serious?why the hell do you listen to him!?if he cant sleep tell him to go sleep on the couch!if my oh is snoring and i wake him up once to turn over but he doesnt then it is my problem and i go sleep on our lounge(although ours is an insanely comfy one so i dont really mind)i would refuse from now thats unbelievably selfish and it sounds like he gets more than enough sleep!your pregnant with twins for goodness sakes!and you mentioned dogs?why not kick the dogs out first?

I think he should be on the sofa. Unless the sofa is more comfy then the bed ! Which in my case it is. I can't cope with our bed at the moment. Most nights around 2-3am I end up dragging the spare duvet downstairs and 'nap' until 6am then start the chores for the day!

Hope everything gets better though & good luck with the twins

It's very easy to be crabby in the night when u are trying to sleep especially when you keep getting disturbed... Also he felt ill on Top of that... However, having said that my own OH would never send me to the sofa and would go there himself first... I am glad he is making amends for being grumpy!!! Hopefully he won't do it again!

I do think tho... The dogs should go, but that's just my opinion.

I totally agree with the other ladies. Don't let anyone treat you
Like that.

Go for 100% self love and get all comfy in your bed and send him to the couch

He needs to be on the couch with the door locked.

Seriously?!? You are heavily pregnant and have SPD, that must be so uncomfortable and bad for your pelvis sleeping on a sofa I would tell him to go f**k himself and if he is that bothered he can sleep there, no way would I listen to him!

My DH wouldn't in a million years suggest in slept on the couch, but if he was in that position he certainly wouldn't go to that much effort to apologise, so well done to your OH for that! And in fairness, if he really was sick, I wouldn't blame him too much.

Though in future, for both your sakes, I'd be inclined to kick the dogs out of the bed - they can have the couch! They'll have to get used to it once the twins arrive anyway.

No chance would I be on the couch, and i take up most of the bed with my maternitu pillow and he just deals with it.

HOWEVER, what the flip are the dogs doing there? esp if your already struggling for room. There is no way in hell i would have dogs on the bed, esp if there is a room stortage, granted we have cats and they do sleep on the bed, but if they are taking up space on the floor they go, im happy enough to close the door on them if they were causing problems.

Im having twins, im 34 weeks measuring over 45 weeks, so im huge! im up and down through the night and sleep upright and generally take up the whole bed and wake OH up a dozen times, he deals with it, there is no chance he would even suggest me on the sofa, infact we have spare bedrooms and i said about me sleeping in another room and he says no way.

Your OH needs a shake up, but your dogs also do, get them off the bed first then sort the OH out!
