Am I the only overdue Octobump left?! Feeling pretty miserable today and am getting so frustrated. I have a sweep tomorrow and midwife will book me in for an induction at the same time. I really don't want to be induced until 14 days over, so a week today. It's all getting a bit much and I feel like I'm disappointing everyone when I say that all my niggles have more or less gone. I want my baby here safe and healthy and with me so badly. I'm not the most patient of people. I tried to explain to a friend that it's like a kid knowing Christmas is coming but not knowing when it's going to be.

Baby, please come out, mummy wants to see your gorgeous little face and give you lots of cuddles.

I was due the 28th. I have booked acupuncture session for tonight to see if that can get baby moving at all.

Xbabygoose I can't have a sweep until I am 40+10 so trust me you are not going to be the last to get a sweep.

bther you are not the last.

I am still here too! Im pretty certain i am the most pregnant woman on BnB!
I am 10 days overdue now. I have been a total bitch for the last 3 weeks because of my frustration of not having LO, but surprisingly today i feel totally mellow and resigned to the fact that i will be induced.
Its probably because i only have less than 48 hours to go and the end is FINALLY in sight. Plus people have stopped bombarding me with messages now so i feel less stressed.

Yep, due on 29th, failed sweep today, induction next Friday. So miserable and down in the dumps. Going to go for a long walk.....these are the times when a bottle of rose would go down nicely

I have a bottle of rose in the fridge waiting for when i get home!

A sweep needs 48 hours to be classed as a failure. It might take quite a while to get going.

Im here too I had a sweep yesterday at 12 lunchtime ish, so at 12 lunchtime tomorrow it will class as a failed sweep

Going in to hospital tomorrow for them to check babys heartrate and the fluid levels, then induced either Sunday or Monday.

Im getting a few low pain contractions but nothing regular.

Hope these babies decide to show their faces before it comes to induction for us all lol.

xx

missed out on having a sweep as the midwife was concerned with a few symptoms I had so sent me to the hospital for monitoring - I left the hospital reassured that baby was ok, but I also left the hospital baby-less

I was due Oct 30 and no signs or symptoms. Had a dr. appt today, no sweep, going back Monday for another appt. Hoping she comes on her own so that we don't even have to discuss induction!

I am not going to let anyone induce me until I am +17 as I want baby to have a chance at coming naturally and for my homebirth.
