Low income

Hi Ladies,

This is my first baby and I give up work in 4 weeks. My bf has lost his job - (although crossed fingers he'll be working again within the week.)
I've heard that families on low income are entitled to help such as child benefit, working tax credit etc. How do I go about applying for these?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think that we can all apply for child benefit regardless of income but if on lower income you can apply for the sure start maternity grant too and tax credits etc, if you go to the government website all the info and links are there hope your bf finds new work x
