Sorry you have to make this decision Hun,
I would be asking how favourable you are for an induction, I was induced with both my children and both completely different experiences,
With first I was induced, with a high cervix that was not effaced or dilated, 36 hrs after the induction an horrible constant pains I was rushed for a section as baby had become very distressed, I was knocked out and baby delivered in a panic. I never made it past 2 cm.
Second baby I was also induced (didn't want a section if possible as I had complications) I was induced again with high cervix no effacing or dilation, however this time I quickly got into what they call established labour, 4cm and 5hrs later my little girl was born.
Both very different experiences, baby 1 was induced earlier than baby 2 and I don't know if that was a factor in ones success and ones failure?
You could always ask for a trail of labour but have a cut of point so
Your not to exhausted and your body isn't put through as much, could say if things don't progress within a certain time could you have section, that's what my consultant suggested with baby 2.
Hope it all works out ok for you, but whatever method you choose the positive is you will have your beautiful baby in your arms at the end of it
Xxx
