Hi.

TBH i wud call your midwife and tell her, you may have an illness called obstetric cholestasis.

With this illness its very common that there is no rash, but the itching is intense.

Nausea and loss off appetite are more of the symptons.

Please call your midwife now, if she cant be gotten hold off, then go to A&E and demand a blood test to check.

If is it obstetric cholestasis in a few cases the liver can secrete the toxins into the blood stream and cause baby to become distressed and in has be known to cause stillbirths.

I know this sounds bad, but it could turn out to be just an allergic reaction to your soap powder. I dont want to scare you i just want you to be ok.

I hope this helps.

i had itching all over my body a few weeks back and went into the doctors with it, they did a test for that OC thing because it can be quite dangerous...it turned out i was just allergic to baby oil all of a sudden haha...so it might not be any big deal, but safer to get checked out to be on the safe side...phone MW, if u cant get through phone ur hospital and ask to speak to a midwife there

xxx

I'd call midwife, best to get it checked out because you do have the symptoms of OC!

I get this once in awhile, usually in the mornings when I'm waking up, but I've put it down to the detergent we use on our sheets! Hope you're feeling better!
