Anybody sleep on their back?

I seem to have to for half of the night but then I struggle to breath why is this? It's hard staying on sides and turning over as my hips are so bad with the SPD they burn does any one else stay on their back at times and do you feel ok?

I seem to fall asleep on my side but wake up on my back. I haven't felt out of breathe yet but i'm sure as baby gets bigger, it will become more uncomfortable xx

I alternate between left side and back. No breathing problems sorry, I'd get another pillow and sit up a bit.

I tend to roll onto my back, even though I really try not to. Its so comfy for me right now, although I never used to sleep on my back. It seems to be the only way I can get to sleep, but I do worry about the artery thing causing oxygen problems to the placenta so I've just ordered a body pillow from Betterware to stop going onto my back. It makes me too anxious xx

I think I'm going to have to start sleeping on my back but propped up, I laid flat for a scan two weeks ago and very nearly fainted was horrible. But it's becoming agony laying on my side now my hips are so so painful I hardly sleep then wake up not able to walk properly for ages getting worse every night and 4 weeks to go! X

Right side is fine but left is preferred.

Not so safe sleeping flat on back hun baby squashes everything. i sleep on my back propped up with lots of pillows that im practickly sitting up and a pillow under neath my legs to elevate them, i also suffer from spd and it seems to work alot better than any other sleeping positions. and i dont end up stuck! as i cant get myself up if i lie flat lol and my breathing is fine in that position toox
