Feels like something is lodged underneath my ribs...baby??

This past week I have finally started to get the feeling that something is lodged underneath my ribs, but only on my right side. I also have felt high kicks near my ribs and then low kicks near my bladder, simultaneously.

I'm hoping this means baby is turning from transverse! I think he goes back and forth lately but it's a positive sign for me to feel that weird lodging feeling in my ribs.

Does this sound like what it feels like to have the baby up there?

Yay! I'm kinda excited, lol...I was getting worried he might not change positions. But he's definitely experimenting lately.

I'm sure I'll be less enthused in a few more weeks when it gets less comfy to have him up there, ha.

Dont worry about the position at this stage- they still have room to bounce about all over the place!

Thanks, that's what my midwife said too, but always good to be reminded since I tend to worry overmuch about the future!

I've got this, I was panicked invade he was favouring breach because all movement is aimed at my bladder and my ribs on the right are uncomfy like something is lodged there. I keep doing exercises to see if it'll help him move.

I've had the feeling of something lodged under my right rib and shooting kicks on my bladder at the same time. I was confused. I went in for my ultrasound last week and found out the baby is lying in a V position. His head is underneath my left ribs, his bum is lying RIGHT on top of my cervix, and his feet are lodged under my right ribs. That explains it all! lol!

My baby didn't turn 32 ish weeks but now at 34 weeks I have hands grabbing my bladder and feet/ bum wedged under my ribs on the right side. I can hardly breath when he stretches and I get heartburn so bad! I have never had this with my other two but yea that's exactly what it feels like, like something is lodged under my ribs. I sometimes feel that sitting up straight will break his feet

I had the same feeling at around the same time as you (Still do, only now it's worse LOL). And baby has been head down since 30 weeks, so hopefully your baby will be too! I often feel kicks in my ribs, and punches on my bladder at the same time, I just figure she's trying to stretch out.
