Okay I am a bit embarrassed but I need to ask...

Four days ago (before me and my OH split up) we were having sex, he has this thing where he always wanted to finger me to make me have female ejaculation (which is amazing) well he kept saying Im nearly there as he can feel me getting tighter inside and of course I came everywhere, over him and the bed! He then climbed on top as uncomfy as it was and I orgasmed with him (well he was slightly behind) when we finished, I got up to go to the loo and my ex OH was getting new sheets for the bed, there was a big BIG patch of my come, it looked like loads and loads of white thick discharge, it had no smell but I was embarrassed as it is always just clear jel like stuff, after the bed was made etc I never thought much more about it.

Then I found out my ex OH was still cheating on me so I decided to split up with him for good, best thing I ever done!!

Anyway today I was using the loo and I looked at my knickers, there was a small amount of white thick discharge (like the bed had the other night) Im now worried that it wasnt normal and it is something to do with the baby?!

Can anyone please help me? I know this is a yucky thread but I had to be brutally honest about it in order to get the right advice if you understand me

hmm i know discharge changes alot during pregnancy - if its thick have you got any itching? any smell? irritation? if your OH was cheating it could be an STD which id deffo get looked at, possibly thrush something like that,otherwise i can't be too sure,but deffo give the MW a call and tell her your discharge has changed its type recently - in the meantime hope your well sounds like you've been through alot, well done on having the strength to pull onwards and upwards hun xxxx

Oh my gosh the stuff I have had to go through during this pregnancy is a living nightmare, between the ex OH cheating, the problems with the money and the situation with the evil ex OH a few weeks ago I have no idea how I am still managing!! I guess I just think about my little baby, at the end of the day the baby is my main priority

I will speak to the midwife on Monday and see what she says. I got a letter in to say that the urine test was mixed culture so I have no idea what that means

ooh 'mixed culture' could mean and infection then, you're obviously a strong woman chick! your LO is going to have a great mommy and rolemodel hope it goes well with results chick

I always have a thicker white discharge...and no infection or STD...it has no smell or anything... just a normal pregnancy discharge for me

it can be normal discharge. best thing to do is get it checked hope everything starts looking up for you xxx

My discharge is a LOT thicker than usual when I'm "excited". Sometimes it stays thicker for a day or two afterwards also.

As MaybBaby already mentioned though, if he was cheating on you, I'd get checked for STDs...or at least mention the possibility to your midwife.

My doctor always tells me if its white or clear, your fine!

and take it from someone who has had std before ( i had an ex also cheat on me.. thats how i found out) - you will definately know it! It has a color(yellow, green, brown.. mine was brown) and smells (HORRIBLE). Needless to say i broke up with him and fixed myself up!

dont worry about it! I have had alot white stuff come out of me too, its just your normal discharge just ten times more! I was really scared when i started getting it because of what happened to me before him.. so i got checked out.. and i laughed when he said it was not a std and then he said your pregnant and thats why! haha.

..but get checked out because if it WAS then it could harm the baby if you did. but i HIGHLY doubt you have one!

You've been through so much with your ex, and I am so glad you've split up with him. I don't even know him, but it's clear from your various posts that he's been cheating on you for ages and doesn't have any respect for you. So good on you, and I really hope you can stay strong and keep him away from you!

As for the discharge, just get it checked out because nobody can really know for sure from your description if it's ok or not, and when a partner has cheated, the chances are greater that you will have an infection or STI.
