The stomach virus & pregnancy do NOT mix!

Obviously I got the stomach bug 2 nights ago.. and by morning was so dehydrated I could barely walk. Landed myself in the ER to get fluids and nausea medicine. Definitely felt like death warmed over for about 24 hours.. but feeling much better today. Baby is fine.
It absolutely amazes me the difference between getting the stomach bug, and getting the stomach bug while pregnant!
Hope you all are doing well in your pregnancies and steer clear of those bugs!!!

Poor you, I'm glad you are feeling better. We all had it a few weeks ago, it was pretty rough!! As you say it is tougher when you are pregnant, I ended up off work for a week as I was so weak!!

I had the same exact thing a couple weeks ago,so i know your pain. I also went to the ER,i was having sharp pains in my chest and thought they were contractions. Turns out i was extremely dehydrated. They gave me nausea pills and sent me home.

got a external hemmroid bc of all the straining i had.

And once again i have been pleased with a bug. My stomach has been churring all night. And being pregnant,with a hemmroid and throwing up /diarehha is mean. I hope you feel better and hey atleast we know now what to expect.

Yeah, this bug is nasty as you all know.. and it seems to be going around everywhere right now! I told my family I was going to have hand sanitizer as my centerpieces at my upcoming shower LOL

I was starting to think I'd never recover! Iv just had breakfast for the first time since Xmas day I feel so much better but can't believe how bad I felt! Oh has just got it n dd had it before me! We are on lockdown!!! x
