Maybe a silly Q re babygrow sizes


Just bought some lovely next baby grows and they are New baby. Is it the same as New born?

it should say how many lbs they go up to? Thats what i go by. I got some small baby ones from mothercare as im expecting a 6/7 lb baby x

Yes lol. They should have a weight on them - like up to 9lb or whatever.

I was looking in Next yesterday and I'm sure the new baby size is up to 7.5lb. Totally adorable but none of my babies except my first have been smaller than that I've had to get the up to 1 month as my first size (up to 10lb)

Says 7.8 pounds. Fingers crossed she'll be smaller than my son who was 8 pounds 4 and a half LOL

Yes but think Next go up to 7lb for new baby....may be wrong - but Asda go up to 9 pounds for a new baby so I've gone for those ones as I know the chances of me having a small baby are minute!

there 7.8lb, but messure big anyways, have a look at 9-12mth ones there mega long x

Amelia was 8 lbs 4 when born and at 4 weeks she is 10 lbs but still in newborn sizes mostly, anything 0-3 is very long in the arms. I was surprised as assumed newborn would be way too small, Next are quite generous sizing too xxx

I got them today,9 brand new next babygrows for £15 so was such a bargain. They are adorable patterns and colours too

I'm glad to read this because most of the baby grows I've bought plus his snow suit are Next! I've been worried I'd taken a risk with so many up to 1 month things x x
