So i have 2 little girls, my 1st was born at 36+6 and weighed 6lbs3oz, my 2nd was born at 39+2 and weighed 7lbs4oz. This time i am having a boy and people keep telling me he will be bigger than my girls, just wondered from peoples experiences if there was any truth in this as i didn't think the sex would matter with birth weight.
Thanks in advance for my silly question lol x
Not neccesarily, my son was 5lb 3oz and my daughter 6lb 6oz. Am carrying a girl this time and est weight at full term is about 7lb 9oz so I really don't think you can say. Oh and also my friends boy was 6lbs and her daughter a whopping 9lb 15oz (same partner) she was a little overdue but that's a huge difference
It isn't true, my brother was under 8lbs and I was 10lb2oz!! My DD was 9lb9oz and she was born a few days early lol. A friend of mine had a little girl who was 9lb6oz at 40+5 on boxing day. I'm expecting a boy which the consultant said will be another big one when they looked at the size of him last week lol.
