scared of stretch and sweep :(

My baby is due on Friday (friday 13th arrrgh), and i have a sweep booked for next tuesday if he has not arrived. Im so scared tho of the stretch and sweep...i cry at smear tests so really dont no how im gonna go thru the whole stretch and sweep, let alone the labour :/

Aww hun, try not to worry. They can be uncomfortable but they are over really quickly x

Yes they are really quick and not painful just uncomfortable, just focus your mind on something completely different and you will be fine, honest

Yeh thats a bonus that they are over really quick, i just no ill tense up so she will struggle to do it!

i no its easier sed than done but it will be so much better if ur relaxed! also u can refuse one n let baby come naturally x

i agree with laurenmommy. It will be better when you relax. From my experience idk if you remember from when you first got pregnant did they check oh goodness i cant remember exactly but they push down on your belling and check something. But a sweep is less painful then that. Just please try to relax. Im getting one tomorroe hopeing that it gets things started so i dnot have to get another one done. GOOD LUCK HUN and i hope that it goes well!
