Epo, rlt, pineapple & pumping!

I've done it all. Now I am going to drag my butt upstairs, make a warm bath and pump one more time while in the tub. Why not? After that...I'm done!

Let us know if anything happens! I've been taking EPO, had a pineapple (but my daughter ate most of it, lol), and was drinking RLT. Might try some things tomorrow as having baby on the weekend would be soooo much easier with the kids home fom school. Then, I can try again next weekend if nothing happens. Wish my water would jet break like in the movies!

Good luck!

she's pumping because nipple stimulation can sometimes help you contract

Nothing helped me but good luck for you! been drinking RLT since week 32, been eating pineapple every day for a week and then gave up as my tongue went all funny, done nipple stimulation, got irritated cuz they're very sensitive - not gonna do anything else. After all I'm getting induced tomorrow being 11 days overdue already. So don't raise your hopes, hunny, if it's gonna happen it's gonna happen naturally.

you are still early hun, chances are baby isn't quite ready yet xx

And I don't think your colostrum will change to milk just from pumping, I am still breastfeeding once a day and I still have colostrum (my turn turned to colostrum)- they knew i was pregnant so changed to colostrum, and they will strat producing milk when they know I'm not pregnant anymore. This may be different for your 1st though. But i wouldnt recommend pumping and nipple stimulation so much. If you keep trying they can get sensitive and you dont want that when bubs is born and trying to latch on x

I'm not pumping enough to really produce anything. Also this is my 3rd baby and as of last wk I was 3cm 80% effaced. Not pushing it, just helping myself out.

with my last son i started pumping at 36 weeks freezing colostrum as it goes after a few days after giving birth and its like gold midwifes have told m.It doesnt run out at all and it don't make you produce milk early ether it is realy good if you can store as much as you can before you give birth. i breastfeed my son till i got preg agen i never used bottle dummy ur nothing and as my first time i was so pleased with myself. and im going to do it all agen with this one xx
