How many wks is a "SAFE" delivery?

Just wondering coz my Mom gave birth prematurely with all of us so I'm wondering at how many weeks is safe to give birth? I'm 30wks now and Mom delivered very small babies with all of my brothers and myself. 3 boys were quite sickly as a result.

Anyone know whats considered SAFE?

37 weeks is full term .The closest to full term, the better but there is lots of babies born earlier that are ok.

It depends on how the baby has been developing but after 28 weeks the baby has a higher chance of survival and after I think 32 weeks the percentage rises rapidly again. I got an email update yesterday saying at 34 weeks there is a 99% chance of survival.
As each week passes though, as each day even, chances of survival goes up. It is amaIng what medicine can do for babies now though x x

The app I have on my mobile phone says "From this point onwards, babies born early have a good chance of surviving and thriving" I'm 32 weeks tomorrow.

My neighbor had her little man at 36 weeks and was able to take him home after the normal 2 day stay in the hospital.

Safe is full term for sure.

But I know there are many babies born at 28-29 weeks and beyond who survive, they just need some special care (NICU) for a little bit xx
