Thank you all so much for your kind wishes, it really does mean so much!

We're now settled up on the ward and Skye is fast asleep in her cot after us having a good 3 hours of skin to skin which was just amazing. She's feeding brilliantly so far and everything she does just amazes me.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from an elective c section after experiencing an emergency one before, but wow, it was an incredible difference and if it's something you find yourself facing then from my experience there truly is nothing to be scared of or worried about. I cannot fault a thing. I have feeling back in my legs already and am in no pain at all.
