Bruised Vagina?

Oh em gee. I feel like someone just kicked me square in the vag. It feels so bruised. I'm guessing its just baby but ouch I never had this feeling with my son.

You should have a look at information on Spd. It sounds like you might have a touch of that. very painful. I suffered with my last pregnancy and now again with this one.

You should get it checked out. I was in pain down there and they told me I had varicose veins developing and simply gave me tips to manage it (ice, support, being off feet).

I had the same feeling, I describe it as feeling like I was kicked in the vagina, or horse back riding all day. My doctor had me come in just in case but cervix and everything was closed at 35 weeks and it was just pressure from him being heads down they said, and it was normal. It hurt so bad, and gotten so much worse at night time.

This is exactly what it feels like. It doesn't feel so great. Haha.

Can I Join the club? Night time is the worst, as I think all the swelling goes to one side. When I get up to pee (which is about 5 times now!) it hurts so bad to walk to the bathroom. My midwife said there is not much I can do about it but I may try icing... yikes!

It is safe for baby as long as it is not too hot but my doctor said heat is the worst thing you can do for swelling. It feels good at the moment but actually makes it swell more, therefore hurt me. Found that out after heating my sciatic nerve for weeks and it not improving.

But yeah.. ice does not sound fun.

Ah man! Just the thought of heat makes it feel better I mean ice makes more sense to relieve swelling, just doesn't seem too soothing. Gah, the joys of pregnancy.

I know. As soon as you put ice on it, you will have to pee. Seems like a vicious cycle to me.
