should i go to the labor and delivery?????or is this labor just starting?


Im sorry to be posting so much this is my first pregnancy.

I've had BH since 25 weeks I and they've just now turned to sharp cramping
Pains they are about 14mins apart with constant back pain they hurt but I don't
want to go if false alarm im 38wk3days! Thanks girls

Maybe ring the, and see what they say, they will prob tell u to stay at home till there closer than 14 mins hunnie xx

My midwife told me L&D won't admit you until contractions are about 5 minutes apart at least. But you could always call them and let them know that something is happening, they will tell you what to do next

Give them a call whilst running a nice bath and take some paracetamol, see how you get on...... Don't forget to completely relax every muscle and take long slow deep breaths with each one..... I've been experiencing prodromal labour for the last four days - the relaxing thing really helps....

I would time them before going in. If they're really close together then don't wait. Just go. If it turns out to be nothing they will let you know. But at least you won't be laboring too long at home. Don't feel bad about asking questions either. This is your first so there will be a lot of false alarms! Good luck hun.

Thanks ladies they told me to wait it out a few more hours then if no change either way to go in and get checked I fingers crossed!
