did you find that the pool/tub helped with the contractions? The birthing center I'm using has really nice big birthing tubs. I'm doing a natural labor but hadn't really thought about a waterbirth although I have heard the warm water eases contractions
For me it did help as your not putting pressure on the bottom half of your body as you would standing up, you can just sort of float! However I believe it help most with delivering her, I don't think I could have done it on a bed, the water really helps with the 'ring of fire' people keep saying about as I didn't feel anything like that. Just felt a bit of pressure but not bad pain.
Ps I'm really tired not had much sleep since she arrived so if none of that makes sense I'm sorry haha!!
