I had mine in my arm last week and it was totally fine. It stung a bit at the time but it didn't ache or anything afterwards.

i had mine last week. i asked the lady doing it if it was going to hurt and she said yes. However when she did the jab it was fine, not painful at all and had it in the arm. Honestly, it is nothing to worry about, lasts a second or two and its all done! Just to warn you though, i had to have blood tests done before the injection in the same arm which i wasnt expecting!

Oh god

Does everyone need to have their blood taken before? I hate it more than anything!

Yeah at 28 weeks everyone has blood tests before hand hun x

Damn! I have my GTT on Friday and having blood drawn then, maybe they'll combine the two. Wishful thinking maybe... x

If you get it in your arm I have to admit, it doesn't hurt it's just A LOT of uncomfortable pressure that makes you wince

I've had 2 so far and I find that they don't hurt at all! Nothing to worry about!

I had one at 28 weeks and I've had several in the past due to miscarriages. All of them were given to me in the bum and I don't think they were bad at all. The needle is slightly bigger and it has some sting to it, but I wasn't sore afterward. The anticipation is way worse than the shot.
