Just got back from hospital from my clinic and scan appt. My clinic was booked for 9 and my scan was ment to be booked for 11:40, got there and started drinking water so i could go do a urine sample for clinic and just before i was about to go to do my sample i got called in to have my scan (thankfully i still had my full bladder even though i was told it wasnt really necessary this far in pregnancy) started having scan and once again the little monkey would not sit still! last time it took over an hour to get his head measurements and this time she couldnt get a good belly measurement for him. anyway...was doing all the vital measurements thigh bone, belly, length, head etc we got to see his teeny tiny little feet for the 1st time and his little hands and when she tried to get a photo he was munching on his hands was so cute!
After my scan i went into clinic as they are monitoring me cause iv had a few problems in my pregnancy and i had to speak to them about been induced cause my husband is deploying days before my due date. I had a lovely specialist and she was very understanding and said shes happy to incude me at 38wk so 8 weeks to go for me she said iv got to go in at exactly 38wk and they are going to give me a sweep and stretch and see if my cervix is favourable to be induced or something then iv got to go away and if i dont go into established labour from the sweep in 24 hours they are going to start induction and break my waters.....but she told me that from 37 weeks iv got to do everything to help get me into labour, rasberry leaf tea, sex, hot baths etc so hopefully unless it happens before i go in at 38wk i will be having my lo on the 9th/10th april xxx

Oooh, yay! That's awesome that they'll induce you so hubby can be there. I bet he's thrilled!

I think we are due on the same day - I have a funny feeling my little man will be arriving earlier in April too

you due 23rd? thats when im suppose to be due. im so glad my husband can be here he is thrilled to pieces xx

my hubby is due to go to afghan days before too hun but i asked to be induced and they were more then happy to. just keep pestering thats what my midwife told me to do if they said no 1st time xxx
