Leaking and cramps? Im worried :(

Hi everyone. I thought I would post here only a few weeks to third tri and maybe I would get more responses.

My problem is when I woke up I had very slight lower abdomen dull aches. This isnt normal for me so I noticed it straight away. When I stood up I felt wet down there like I was dripping. I went into the toilet and my inner thighs were wet. When I wiped it was clear and thin with no smell. I then felt down there (sorry tmi) and it was very wet and slippery. I wasnt wearing any underwear and my sheets werent wet but since then the pains have got a little bit stronger. Not omg im in agony pain.but its there.

I thought maybe my waters might have leaked but my mum said if they had broke I would know about it and the pains are probably the start of braxton hicks. This is my first so all this is new to me.I was majorly stressed yesterday which I dont think helped

Hes moving around so I know hes alright but should I be worried? Has anyone experianced this before? Im 26 weeks today.

It could have been your waters leaking, put a pad on and see if anything else comes out.. it could also just be watery discharge.. call your doc!

it could be your waters.... not all waters gush...... i would put a pad on see how much water is coming.... and call your midwife for reassurance...... xxxxx

call your doctor. leaking amniotic fluid at 26 weeks is a very big problem! your mom is wrong, as others have said--your waters can certainly leak and never gush. this early they are more likely to leak and low fluids are not good for baby.

Hope its not your waters yet but i would def call MW. I thought i was leaking once but it was just dicharge.

Dont wait too long becuase u dont want to leak to much water yet! x

id definitely give your midwife a ring. not all waters go with a gush. it could just be increased discharge but if there was enough for it to cover your thighs that's quite a lot. definitely worth getting checked x
