Does this sound normal? I really need lots of answers please! SYMPTOMS

So im going on 35 weeks pregnant (in another day). The whole day today Ive been having pressure in my wayy lower stomach (over pubic bone), sometimes itll be a quick sharp pressure, but mostly its just this pressure that kind of feels like pushing down, or like I havnt pee'd all day, even if I went to the bathroom a minute before it will still feel like that.
I noticed today I have went to the bathroom Alot more then usual (even for being pregnant) I went 10 minuites ago and feel like I have to go again.
Anyways, this pressure feeling doesnt like come and go every few hours, Its been lingering through the day and I feel its gotten a little worse. Nothing very painful, but getting uncomfortable to wear I actually notice it all the time (where as this morning, I could go about my business and ignore it). I dont think im going to go to the hospital today because Im sure if I go into labor ill know it, If in the next day or two its worse Ill go, but I just want to know if this is normal in the third tri, or a sign of labour soon? has anyone had that experience and went into labour? or not?
Id love as many answers as possible. This is my first baby princess.
Thanks

not sure about it being a sign of labor... could it be a bladder infection?

I know exactly what you're describing. I have had this feeling since week 26. I'm 33 now. Baby is still in there. And on February 6th I've been told she's already head down. I can't really tell you what that pressure is, but it keeps me from turning at night and getting off a chair, couch or even out of the car is a pain! Sorry can't help much there

No its not infection, Ive been testing constantly at my maternity office (part of their practice, they are overly cautious near the end) and with my weekly visits, plus I know what an infection feels like and its not this

Good that it is not an infection. Perhaps it is just baby settling down finding its way, and getting ready for its trip into the world...

This is a sign that your baby is officially head down.

I asked my obgyn about this same thing as I've been experiencing this very same sensation.

Its VERY uncomfortable and occasionally painful, but completely normal. Laying on your side or simply sitting down usually helps.

i also feel that pressure in my pelvic area.perhaps its due to baby sitting low in my belly.its bit uncomfortable to turn sides or get up from the bed.but no real pqin like labour(i know as its my 2nd pregnancy)but if its anything thats worrying u all the time i think u should consult ur midwife/doctors as symptoms of early labour/pain bearrance is different for diferent person.

I experienced almost all the things you're describing probably around 34 weeks. Then around the 36th week it got REALLY uncomfortable. My girl is head down, confirmed in an ultrasound so I'm sure thats what it is you're feeling. Head butts on your cervix! Owie! Hang in there, sadly for me it's just gotten more uncomfortable! Lol but the end is near...
