hayleyzahra i had my baby in under 2hours of labour

Hey

I gave birth to KENDRA TODAY

I went to be induced as had alot of water around her, i came in yesterday and was 4cm dilated so didnt need the gel to start me up
This morning i was taken to the delivery room where i was so scared and started crying i wanna go home lol, i had my waters broke at 8.30am this morning it took a good 15min there was so much it leaked down the bed on the floors my bed was a river i had to take everything off and have all the bed cleaned, her head was up high so had to stay in bed all through labour incase the cord came down, at 8.45am they started the drip the contractions came on really fast at 9am i was already getting contractions up too 100 toco what hurt!
about 45mins into my drip i was examined and was 5cm dilated, by than i couldnt stick the pain so adopted for gas and air, that does take the pain off the contractions but it made me feel so drowsy i only took it on 2 contractions and hated it so didnt bother with that i choose to stick out the pain!
at 9.45am 1 hour into my labour i begged for pethdine injection which didnt work that great it takes abit of pain away but u can still feel the contractions there is NO escaping it by 10am i felt the need to push only 1 hour and 15mins into labour so she came and checked me and i was 8cm and she was low and coming so i let a few more contractions came and at 10.15am we started pushing!
when u have to push it so differnet to when your having a contraction to dilate i found it doesnt hurt as much but the pushing burns it took 4 pushes to get her head out than 1 last push for her body she was out at 10.25am
the labour was so fast that the pethdine started to work about 15mins after she was born, i didnt really need that injection it just made my speech slurred!
i never screamed so loud ever i layed there with a wet cloth on my head screaming and shouting and pulling some right ugly faces, when i was pushing i screamed so much a few doctors came in too see what was with all the screaming lol
she is 3.95kg so about 9lbs something shes looks like OH im so in love with her!
I still cant believe labour was under 2hours!

Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone

xxxx
