Kaelen is what my sister is naming her son due in 3 weeks. Its nice but out of the three I prefer Kael. Never heard anyone called that (apart of the warrior in Willow )

When researching Caillan, i found that it was a Gaelic name, meaning child. It has many different spellings apparently and i still can't make up my mind which one to use, i've changed it about 3 times already, xxx

Agree with you on liking that name but with that spelling! (since the letter K doesn't exist in the Gaelic/Irish language...).

Im Irish too & a fluent irish speaker!

Id go with Kael but spelt Cáel
We had the same issue trying to name our little girl & have now decided on Éabha pronounced Ava!
