Thank you for taking the time to write this. I am praying (and now waiting) to see what her team yellow baby is.

Truth is: I never experienced a braxton hicks until thursday night (yes, I have a previous child but NEVER had them with him!!).

I did get concerned but hadn't had it sense thursday.

Praying for your niece or nephew and mommy to be xx.

She is definitely in active labor. She was sent to Orillia, as it was the closest hospital. Mommy is coping very well, and baby seems to be OK as well.

Overcomer: Thank you for your kind words. We will be seeing soon if it's a boy or a girl and I've thought all along it was a boy!!

Keeping her in thoughts and prayers. At least she has a good NICU there! I hope everything is OK when s/he is born!

Maybe they can at least slow labor down enough for a steroid shot to help? I hope so.

Menelly, they can't she is in full blown labor. I don't think the shot would do much. I think she will have the baby today maybe even this afternoon (It's only 11am here)

just read your last post!! how many cms dilated is she? I'm sorry she's going thru this but at least she is far along enough for the baby to be in great condition even if it has to spend a couple weeks in the NICU

LillianA - She is 4cm as of right now (11:00 AM). She was 3cm at 7:30 AM and was rushed to the hospital and then 2.5 hours later she is 4cm and that's all I know. She is doing well coping, and the baby is also doing well.
