How long after due date do you have sweep?

Hi, hope everyone is doing well,

I had my midwife appointment yest and she has booked me in for a stretch and sweep for 40+9, I just feel 9 days after my due date is quite a long time.

When does everyone else have theirs???

I have this issue too,my original appointments would have been 39 weeks and then 41 weeks but I'm always +3 days when I have mine so would be 41+3

I seem to be going every 2 weeks now so hopefully I'll get 38+3 and 40+3 which is better.

Can you not give your MW a ring and ask? It does seem a long time and if you do get to that appointment they'd need to book you in for induction at that time too wouldn't they?

xx

9 days seems pretty long time to wait for a sweep.

I had mine at 5days over with my first, and on my due date with my second

I may give her a ring a see if she can bring it forward a little or even ask why it is so late!!

I have to admit she isnt the most approachable of women which does make it rather difficult!
