Can someone please tell me if hating fish means you get a boy?

Apparently everyone in my family is convinced I'm having a boy....for stupid reasons too! Now my Mom's manicure lady is chiming in saying that she couldn't stand fish during her pregnancy (like me) when she had her boy.

Please help me ladies....who here couldn't stand fish for your pregnancy and is having/had a girl? Thank you!

I'm of the other type... I'm having a boy and love fish! I made steamed salmon last night, which turned out fairly well. Going through sushi withdrawal, even though it too sounds appealing...

I couldn't stand the taste of fish while I was pregnant with my dd and can't stand it again with this one and I feel like I'm having a boy from how I'm carrying.

If it was recommended, I'd eat salmon, cooked sushi, or tuna every day. Having a boy.

I am loving fish and having a girl.

That said... I really don't think any of these old wives tales have truth to them. Whether it's the food you're craving, whether you're carrying high or low, if you have an increase in facial hair (LOL), etc. I think every pregnancy is just different for every woman.

Oh thank you thank you thank you. It's not that I wouldn't mind having a boy, but I'm just totally not prepared for it. For some reason, my husband and I have always had this feeling we were going to have a girl when we got pregnant. We've had the name picked out for ages. We've got zip, zero, nada for a boy, and it's a pretty hot discussion. I'd just like to believe there's still hope lol.

Keep'em coming ladies...let's here those fish tales lol.
