Anyone else feeling "forced" to baby on a budget?

I mean, times are TOUGH for a lot of people at the minute!!
Luckily, we've bought everything baby needs, for now and what we did buy, we bought when we were both working.
I lost my temporary contract when they found out I was pregnant and money's been SO tight ever since!

It takes £88 to fill our car with diesel and we're topping up 4 times a month

I'm SO grateful we have everything we need for this baby and she's pretty much clothed until 6 months........but still, I NEVER want to feel like I'm scrimping for my baby I've waited soooo long for!!

DH's job pays ok; enough to live on, but I'm worried! I'm one of these people that worry when there's nothing to worry about

Anyone else feel the same?

im being made redundant, love my job but im not moving to barcelona for it!

Sign of the times isn't it? So depressing! I'm sorry you're about to be made redundant! Talk about lousy timing!!

it is and it isnt... i get 6 months full mat pay at my normal pay, 3 months at stat mat pay, 1 month in leui of notice and my redundancy all in one go as they are buying me out of mat leave so i can return to work before 9 months is up if i want to. gona be able to reduce monthly outgoings by clearing some cards off. Would just rather have a job tho that i love!

Just stuck in the uncertainty of not knowing what will happen in regards to benefits and money at the mo

i hate not knowing were i stand...

Aww,Hon that's rubbish... good luck! I'm having to give up my job because OH works 200km away and his job pays more than mine. At the moment he's travelling there every day but it's going to become too much so we're planning to move closer. Scared senseless of giving up my job because getting another when I want to go back is going to be so difficult. Also living off one person's wage if going to be a jolt...but hey will be worth it in the end!!

ive done that thats how i ended up in derby, its not that bad tbh - hope he gets a good relocation package!
