I lost my plug at wk 35 with my first baby. Within hours my water broke too. So I had to be induced.

Def call the MW!! She will let you know what to do/expect.

Mine started out pink like that! Here's pictures of it... I went in to labour that next night but didn't give birth until 3 days later xx

I lost my plug at 32 weeks and freaked out! But apparently if it is that early it can regenerate, which it must have done as I am still here and baby is fine.

I don't know if 35 weeks is too late for it to regenerate though or not, sorry I can't help.

Hi

With my daughter I started losing bloody mucous at 35 weeks too. My midwife just said to make sure if my waters broke, I started having contractions or even just didn't feel right to let them know straight away to go for steroid injections. I ended up having her at 38+5 so it doesn't necessarily mean labour is imminent. Best to let your midwife know and see what she says. Hope everything goes ok for you

With ds1 I had a bloody show in the morning, contractions started in the afternoon, and he was born in the early hours of the next morning.

I was under the impression that there was a big difference between losing your mucus plug and having a bloody show, in terms of how imminent labour is - I may be wrong though. I hope everything is ok xx

Any time after 34 weeks, (at least here in canada). They will not try to stop labor. They will let it happen.

Keep us updated!

Yeah, your Mucus plug and bloody show are different things.

Your plug, shoukdn't have blood in it and can be lost at anytime an replenish. Its not a ign of labour,

Your bloody show however, is you starting to lose your membraines. Labour is just around the corner. I would call the MW, you can get light spotting and that can be caused by your cervix getting ready and lood vestles bursting.

After all these kids I had never lost my mucus plug or had "bloody show". With my last one I FINALLY had my water break..never had it with any of the others. Yesterday I had my "bloody show" but I am still here and my water hasn't broken. Only thing is been having some very inconsistent contractions. YAY!...not!
