Started RLT - Crampy... anyone else?

So I started taking RLT (capsule form as opposed to the tea) today and I've noticed I'm more crampy and even a little more gassy than normal. I wouldn't say they're normal contractions but have definitely felt like period cramps.

Did anyone else feel this way after they started taking it? It's pretty uncomfortable haha.

You're starting it already? I read you shouldn't start it until 34 weeks at least...

I've read both 32 and 34 weeks but didn't see anything warning against starting at 32 so that's what I went with. A lot of what I read came from a post right here on BNB: http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy...l-epo-faq.html

Thanks I remember reading one woman's story that she noticed her BH got more intense but wasn't sure if it was related or just coincidence.

I started drinking RLT at 32 weeks I upped it to 2 cups a day at 34 weeks. I definitely get braxton hicks during/after drinking it and feel more crampy

Does it give anyone else wicked heartburn too? I started drinking 1 cup a day at 32 weeks as I did with my last pregnancy. Can't face upping it to more than 1 cup though. I might have to look into the capsules instead.

I also have been getting increasing BHs even when I'm sat doing nothing. Lol

I drank the tea once, that made me quite crampy. But as i found the tea horrible i switched to capsules and haven't noticed anything since.
I've not had any heartburn either. And hopefully by saying all of this i won't jinx it!

if you can stick it out with the teabags then try too, as they are meant to be more effective than the tablets

I get acid reflux from it but an indegstion tablet before bed does the job
