How can you be mortified by yellow foods? cheese is yellow... Curry is delicious....

..she sounds neurotic and not the most sane... I definitely think making dinner that makes her cringe is good payback =) I'm all for this. Lmao... Gotta stand up for yourself somehow, Plus at this point in my eyes it would just be a fun game now.

It was delightful when OH announced during dinner that the jarred spaghetti sauce * gasp i know lol* was better then his mother homemade sauce and she heard him lol He prefers my cooking and I love him for it lol It irks her to see her son and grandson inhale my meatloaf while hers goes virtually uneaten
Geeze i sound like an evil woman lol I am always respectful and nice to her because that's what I was raised to do.. but I do delight in watching her cringe when I serve dinner and it's something I know she hates lol

You're only evil when you're treating someone who respects you in a disrespectful manner.... But I'm Italian, soooooooo respect is big for me.

The Golden Rule - Treat others the way you want to be treated. She treats you pretty bad, so the little joys you get here and there from watching her slightly suffer (she's not in any real danger of course) does not make you evil.

Not in my book anyways.

I am never rude to her and even the one time I was I apologized profusely. I'll be nice and make her facorite pork chops tomorrow so she is caught off guard.. but Monday.. curry is on lol

hahaha. i actually much rather have jarred spagetti sauce. It's just easier! i just add oregano to it.

When i first found out i was pregnant, my mother was like scaring me that she was gonna put her own room in my house( i literally was believing she was just gonna MOVE in). my OH went "as long as she cooks for me, i'm fine with it!" hahahahaha! My mother is an amazing cook so i could never win her up i'm sure haha... whenever i make something new i call her and get her opinion on it.
