Any other ladies in latent/slow labour wanna wait it out with me?

So, while I'm not actually due, I am in latent labour and the waiting around/wondering what's happening is a killer - so I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is in the same position.

I'm 34 weeks (more like 35 by my dates but I think I'll trash those now as the hospital ignores them!) and had pre-term labour stopped on Tuesday night, but have still been having irregular contractions and strong niggles ever since. The hospital were really busy and I was lucky enough to be allowed home to see how things go; baby's had the full course of steroids for lung maturity and was weighing around 5lbs on Tues night so hopefully if he does come soon, he'll do just fine

This morning, things have changed a little - rather than feeling totally exhausted, I've actually got a burst of energy and I've noticed more and more little tightenings and niggles. I'm under strict orders to phone the hospital if they start coming 30 mins apart, and to go down if they're 20 mins apart or less, but right now I'm just sitting around!

Anyone else out there on the big wait?

Good luck to you and your baby! After hearing SOOO many times that babies come at the most inconvenient times, I figured I'd be holding my lo in my arms right now. Lol. Someone suggested that I just walk in the hospital with EVERYTHING prepared and ready and maybe he'd come. Anyways, ive been having alot of signs that my lil guy will be here ANYTIME. So i am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my lil one also.

Ah good luck to you too! You're 40 weeks I see, so either way you're definitely ready to go, so I hope things tick along nicely for you and baby makes an appearance sooner rather than later

I just repacked my hospital bag while having a lot of period pain and backache, but it's now tailed off again....still, at least we're prepared and ready!

I HAD my bags packed, kinda dug into them a little to get the ONLY decent pants that fit and now need to rewash and go through that again. lol My baby's carseat and his bags are packed in my jeep, that I just broke in the mountains yesterday and that's at my uncle's house about 30 mins away. Hopefully my dad will have that fixed before he comes though. I've been getting cramps alot for the past couple of weeks and have dilated from nothing to 2 in a week (that was last week) and curious to see if I will make it to my next apt. Wed. I keep telling myself anyday now and trying to stay active with a balance of relaxing. Today I'm staying in bed till 1 (thanks to my mom here taking care of me) then going with my gma to babieRus and then the mall to walk and hit a few flight of stairs. Hopefully this little booger will be here tonight. I keep thinking everytime I get these period pains that they will just get worse and worse and worse, THENNNN.....it's going to be show time! I did lose my plug yesterday!!! I know ladies go weeks after losing their plug but like you said, I'm sooooo close!!! Hopefully our little ones will be here soooooon!

I'm waiting for that burst of energy that everyone talks about! They all say they get that burst then boom, they are in labour. All I've felt is exhausted!

Loads and loads of luck and labour vibes to all of you - I'm content to hold on a while longer but wish my body would stop playing tricks on me!!

Had contractions AGAIN yesterday and ended up at hospital, where they promptly bloody well stopped. They'd been going steady for 4 hours, I really thought it was time, then nada. Not a bloody thing.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
