I have one- but I am a fairly private person. I actually used to cover my first and he was bottle fed because he was such a distracted eater it would take him an hour and half to eat 3 ozs if left to stare at the world.

I will definitely be using covers when I nurse. Not because of judgement or whatever, but because of my own insecurities. I am a very, very modest person. I can barely wear a swimsuit without a shirt on over it! haha I would never use one just because people would be grossed out by it... if anyone ever gets grossed out by me breastfeeding I'll tell them where to go .

Nope. I will be BF at my house, but if I need to go out, I will bring bottles or go into the restroom.
Not ashamed of the fact that I am a woman, nor that I am feeding my child. I just have this idea that if you are not generally allowed to see my tits, you're still not allowed to see my tits because there's a baby attatched. Kind of like the birth thing...if you dont normally have permission to see my vagina, you dont get to see it just because a baby is popping out of it.

I don't use any kind of cover, actually I did use to cover or find a quite place when DS was a toddler because he would get distracted when nursing. Seriously one of the best things about breastfeeding for me was it is so convient! It was always the right temperature, always in the right container, always ready and available when DS was hungry. I have nursed in many places till DS was 3 (well he mostly stopped nursing in public at around 2.25 or so unless he was hurt) I am also of the feeling that if you don't want to see any bit of breast in public then look away, I am showing a lot less skin then most low cut tops.

I had a line ready if anyone said anything (but nobody ever did) and it was "if you have a problem with my breastfeeding her is a blanket for your head"

I think the important thing is to be comfortable while nursing and if covering up makes you more comfy then go ahead, I just found it too fiddly and attracted more attention then just popping DS onto my breast (I do like to cover my belly though when I have to lift up a shirt to nurse.)

No, and tbh most women say they will use a canopy but then when they actually come down to it,they won't bother.

The only thing I *might* do is a swaddle blanket (I use A+A too) if baby gets too distracted to feed, my boy was very distracted so I don't know if this one will know to tune out the world.

Never needed one. I just pull down my top and latch on. Never had anything but smiles!

I dont know if i'll use the actual BF canopy just because I think they look lame and ugly, and feel funny. But prob just carry a small blanket i can throw over me. I'm very uncomfortable even wearing a tank top that shows off a bit of clevage in public, so I cant see myself BF'ing in public without it. Will I probably get over theses fears onces Vanessa is here, probably.. I've already told my husband, that if i'm BF'ing at home, and I go in to the nursery and close the door, he is the ONLY one allowed in the room. Unless its my mommy or sister. LOL...

BF canopies are quite ugly and a pain, have you ever heard of aden + anais swaddle blankets? They are perfect, I love them sooo much, nice and light. I don't use BF covers but if I wanted to, that's what I would.

I've never heard of one, but I'm assuming it's something that hides the fact your breastfeeding. I will just take baby out in my wrap sling and feed in there, you can't see what's going on then.
