Just had my 4d scan...im a little worried now :/

We have just got back from our 4d scan and it was much better than the last one! My main concern is in 29+1 and the baby is weighing a whopping 3lb 5oz

I have just googled and it tells me hes measuring 3 weeks ahead! The sonographer didnt say much as he didnt speak good english but im concerned now!

Has anyone else measured this big at roughly the same gestation? im paniced about GD!

I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like you have a very healthy little baby.

At my 28 week scan baby was just over 3lbs and although a little larger than average the weight was still within the 'normal' range if thats helps

That's exactly what my little man weighed at 29 Weeks!

My little boy was born at 30 weeks and weighed 3lb 11oz, the averages are just a guide, some babies are much bigger and some smaller

Oh what a relief! I was having visions of having a 10pounder! My youngest was 9lb born so i guess its possible

I had my scan at 27&2 And she was weighing 2lb11. She told me it was bigger than average but not ginormous

I went at 31 weeks and they estimated baby was 4lb 10oz

I do have GD.. my lo was 3lbs 12 oz's at 32 weeks.. but every baby is diff

I had a growth scan at 30 weeks and they said she is weighing 3lb 14oz! I didn't realise how much bigger that was but my midwife said last week that she will probably be a good 8lber if she continues to grow like that but it may have just been that she was having a little growth spurt!
