Bumped my bump, should I be worried?

Apparently I'm unaware of how large I've grown and as we were eating dinner, I went to get up and get a drink from the fridge when I banged my bump on the table. It was pretty painful if I'm being honest and I feel a lot of pressure at the top of my bump. That could just be because I just finished dinner and my stomach's full but I noticed it after the "accident."

Baby isn't too active right now and there's a nice red mark and a slight bruise turning up where I banged my bump and it's been over 20 minutes. Should I be concerned? I know they can take quite an impact in there and are very well protected but heck, it hurt me and I'm overly cautious with all these stories I read here on BNB so I thought I'd ask.

I'd just call my OB but they're not that concerned unless you're in full-blown active labor, they downplay everything I've addressed as a concern so I prefer your guys' support

Thanks!

I wouldnt worry as baby very well protected but if you need any reassurance give midwife a call. One of my friends fell badly on her bump at 36 weeks and bubba was just fine.x
