restless legs

heya ladies

just wondering if anyone has got restless legs?? I've heard it can happen during pregnancy and have had it on and off for the last few weeks. Its only when im in bed, sometimes also happens when resting on the couch..

its not really bad but its just plain annoying and not helping the sleep situation, which has been hard enough lately!

anyone got any ideas how to help it or anything? ill ask at my next appointment but its not for another 2 weeks

thanks!

I'm the same. Got hardly any sleep last night due to them (plus some horrendous hemorrhoids) it drives me mad.

Takes me about 30 mins to an hour to fall asleep as my legs constantly twitch.

I don't know any tips to atop it either sorry. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone and although SO annoying ita normal x

Gah is there ANYTHING more irritating than RL?

Apparently there's no cure but get your MW to check your iron levels if she hasn't already. As soon as I started taking prescribed iron/folic acid supplements, it went away a couple of days later and I haven't had it since about 32 weeks.

Hope you can get it fixed!

I'm the same but I used to get it occasionally before. I didn't realise it was pregnancy related. We recently went on holiday and it happened on the flight home. I was so fidgety and sat next to a stranger so trying my best to sit still. It was a long flight......
Shame to read there is no cure but I tend to just get up and move about for a bit.

Well they *say* there's no cure but a lot of studies have been done into the connection between iron deficiency and restless leg - most of them suggest that there is a link
