One of "those" friends?

Does anyone else have one of "those" friends?

By this I mean a friend who has already had a baby and insists that they know best about EVERYTHING as a result.... What you should do when, how you should feel, what you should/shouldn't buy, what you should/shouldn't eat, presumes she should be involved with every exciting activity, thinks you should consult them before doing anything...

I have one.

I love her to bits, but really, she's driving me mad now. It's a bit like Hubby and I cannot do anything without her telling us how/what we should be doing.

She even insisted we couldn't choose a pram without her approval first. I mean, really?!

It's our first baby and we are excited and she's been ruining parts of it. I've taken to not telling her anything at all and just skimming over things when she asks.

No I am lucky not too! Sounds like a right pain, like an overbearing mother/mother in law!! Maybe she wants another baby and is living vicariously through you!

Oh God only knows. Half the time I can just ignore her or just don't bother telling her anything at all. I just get annoyed after a conversation with her - hence the post haha!

Mee!
I know a girl who I met at a young parents group, and she has a little girl and everything I say to her she contradicts and tells me I will do it a different way etc.

She really is lovely, but its so annoying when she tries to tell me what type of person I am and how I will be around my son.

The most annoying is how people always reassure me that I'll never sleep again or even have time to shower or put on makeup....UM YES I WILL!

I don't have a friend like this... But my step sister is exactly like it !! SO irritating, and her advice isn't even wanted most of the time! She has opinions on things i don't ask her about., one time she made me SO angry by commenting on the fact i was drinking Pepsi cos i 'shouldn't be drinking it' ... she smoked the whole way through her pregnancy ! F'ing hippocrit!!

Oooh, I HATE this too, especially from people who don't even have kids!!

And I hate it when people say to me "your lifestyle will change dramatically, you won't be able to do nothing you used to"

All I used to do is work, and visit family and friends - Why will that change.

Yes I had nights out etc which I know I can't do as often once LO is here, but I wouldn't want to be out all the time.

So frustrating!
