totally pointless but i love love love this weather!

hello ladies

well its absolutely gorgeous here today and has been for the past 3 days and as a result

my lining basket is empty
back garden is clean
chickens have had a good clean out
car has been washed, polished and hoovered
dogs have been on lots of walks
house is nice and tidy (because 12 YO stepson has been outside instead of messing up inside)

today i am going to

wash the garden chairs
have a BBQ for tea
bath the dogs (smell little creatures after all the walks they have been on)
then sunbath and relax and enjoy an alcoholic free larger in the sun

You will probably think I'm a miserable cow lol but I HATE the summer!
I get pounding headaches from the sun, I'm petrified of bee's & wasp's which always harass me when the sun is out, I get hot & bothered too quickly, can't sleep at night as too hot in bedroom. My OH LOVES it though, as does my doggy. I'm just not normal haha!

The bee & wasp thing is the worst for me, it's ruining my life to be honest, I literally RUN from my door to my car when I go out. I refuse to have any windows open in my house or car in case they get in & I won't go on walks with OH in case there are bee's etc. Literally terrified. I wish I could get over it. Makes me sad.

I had a nice Becks Blue in the sun yesterday, did all my washing so everything is so lovely and fresh, did all my bedding, and got a bit of colour in my face to boot! Just gives you that boost to want to do things.

Some people have said the weather isn't gonna last, which is a pain because I am working until Friday!

Oooooooh I LOVE the sunshine too! All I can think about is when Bean is here and I can take her for walks to the park in her little pram I'm the last of my antenatal group to give birth so they've all started doing that already. I'm going walking with them tomorrow as long as Bean doesn't put in a surprise appearance tonight! Hope I don't hold them up with my waddle!!

Yay for the sun, enjoy!

X

Loving_life - get yourself a can of bugspray and a swatter- that's what I do! I used to hate them, then I got stung one morning when I was still asleep (rolled over onto a wasp) and it wasn't as bad as I thought, and now they don't bother me. I'm not saying that you should intentionally get stung, but arm yourself, and don't be scared of them. Bees in particular are very docile and will only sting if trapped. They're actually very cute when you look at them, and so good for your garden and plants.

Sorry to hi-jack, but I used to be the same. I know how annoying it can be.

And us PG ladies need to get out in the sun. Lotsof vitamin D allows the calcium to absorb, so get out there and eat lots of ice cream at the same time!
