Me and hubby were talking about this the other day and the thing we're going to miss is our holidays. We like nice big couples only holidays, doing boat trips, late meals, staying out all night. All gone lol! I'm pretty sure it'll be 110% worth it though.

I actually mentioned this in another thread the other day. I broke down crying and poor hubby didn't know why. I asked him the same question and he just said he's excited for our son to be born. I don't think the reality has quite hit him the same way it has me. But don't get me wrong, I'm super excited to hold my son and see his face. But it's like a chapter in my life is being closed off from me forever.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one. There are other times when we do stuff, like on the walk I was talking about before, we saw loads of frogspawn and some massive highland cattle and some tiny lambs (i'm a bit of a loser I know!), and I thought I can't wait till we have a child who can enjoy those things too! So I suppose I have to take the rough with the smooth hahaha. Perhaps when they are born we will still think about the things we can't do right now but will replace them with other things that we haven't even thought of yet? xx

Yes definitely. There are tons of things we can't wait to do with her and show her all kinds of different places and stuff. So although we will lose a lot of our time with our OH's it will be so great to make new memories and share great experiences together WITH our little ones. (:
