Not a great start...

... to my day. Pulled my maternity pants out of the dryer to put them on and realized that the fabric in crotch is totally blown out. These are the only pants I own that halfway fit... And I really can't afford to go buy another pair right now. Ugh.

I've had a huge hole in the front of the crotch of my only fitting maternity pants for about a month now. I have two shirts that are long enough to cover it, so I always just wear those. No one knows any better.

I patched the hole with some denim cut from some scraps I had in my craft room. So... the issue is sorry of fixed. Only problem is that the patch is a TOTALLY different shade of blue. Oh well.

LOL, both my maternity jeans and cords died on me this way about a month ago too and I thought they'd last the whole pregnancy. I ended up buying another pair of jeans from someone on kiiji and I rotate them in with my leggings (kinda like maternity yoga pants). Oops! guess the pregnancy outlasted the clothes....

My crotch-patch job seems to be holding OK. I hope that these pants keep it together for the next month. I've looked at the local second-hand stores to see if I could pick up another pair or two to last till the end, and apparently only really skinny pregnant ladies get rid of their maternity wear out here. It's ridiculous!

Lol. This is so true. I'm not even big. Size 8 before I got pregnant and I can't find anything to fit. I got given some stuff and looked at used stores. All seems to be made for 17 year olds.

I'm glad / sad that I am not the only one with this problem. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one, but then it also sucks to know that you're out there trying to figure out how to fit your thighs in those tiny leg holes too.
