MY baby girls name will be...

Kynleigh Colette, pronounced (kin-lee) please give me your honest opinions, this is my first girl, and last baby, and I want her to have a perfect name,to go with her brothers. They are Parker Lawrence, and Brixton Bendall, I love unique names, so let me have it

I love it. Unique names are good, as long as they're not "apple" or some ridiculous thing that will only lead to endless torture for the child.

Kynleigh is gorgeous.

Since you asked for honesty, I'll give it to you: I love the name, I think it's beautiful. However, the spelling has got to go. I know everyone wants unique spelling, but there's a very fine line between unique and...you-neek, if you get my drift. I have just never been a fan of any name that is going to make people have to pause and think before attempting to pronounce it, or one that your kid will one day have to constantly spell out and re-spell, and will still get documents with her name misspelled.
"Kinley" would be gorgeous...she may even find pencils with her name on them, without you needing to pay a fortune for a special order.
I hope you're not offended by the honesty!

I also think the spelling of the name needs a change. Kinley would be great. Believe me, I've had 27 years with a 'unique' spelling and it's as irritating now hearing my name butchered as it was in school. Also, I would be inclined to pronounce the name with the y sounding as I. It's confusing when you use a vowel that can be pronounced different ways. Good luck on deciding! Remember, unique is good, but having your name butchered your whole life SO isn't worth it.

I agree, pretty name... but I wouldn't of known how to say it without you pointing it out.

Honestly? It wouldn't be my choice. But then I prefer more traditional names that perhaps have fallen out of fashion more than these new-fangled names no-one has ever heard of (well at least, I've not heard of Kynleigh or Kinley or however you want to spell it)!

HOWEVER, that said, I think it goes well with her brother's names due to the uniqueness and I think that no matter what we think - as long as you and your OH love it then our opinions matter very little
